PaaS utilizes the following data storage types:
1.Structured: Highly organized,such that inclusion in a relational database is seamless and readily searchable.
2.Unstructured: Information that doesn't reside in a traditional row-column database-test,multimedia content,email etc.
SaaS utilizes the following data storage types:
1.Information storage and management: Data is entered into the system via the web interface and stored with the SaaS application (Often a backend database)
2.Content/file storage is stored within the application.
3.Content Deliver Network: content is stored in object storage and then distributed to geographically distributed nodes to improve performance .
